Who's gonna be the Activator/Chaser King & Queen?
The rankings are automatically calculated using the BCA activation logs uploaded to the BOS! database. If two participants have activated or worked the same number of references, the final ranking will be determined by the highest total number of QSOs.
Activation Rules
- Activations must take place within a 1 km radius of the castle or fortress reference.
- The official activation zones can be verified on the BOS! Maps.
- A single activation may qualify for multiple WCA/BCA references when the activation area overlaps.
- Each activation must include a minimum of 50 QSOs to receive Activator credit.
- Chaser contacts remain valid even if the activator does not reach the required 50 QSOs.
Log Submission
- All activator logs must be uploaded via the Login page on this website.
- Submission deadline: 07 January 2027
- Logs received after this date will not be included in the current year's rankings.
- The final rankings will be published on 08 January 2027.
- The wooden award plaques will be shipped during the second half of January 2027.
