Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and why.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owners.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary โ session cookie
When you log in to the BCA or TOTA self-service portal, a temporary session cookie is set so the website remembers that you're logged in as you move between pages. This cookie:
- is deleted automatically when you close your browser, or after a period of inactivity;
- does not track you across other websites;
- is not used for advertising or analytics.
Because this cookie is strictly necessary for the login feature you actively request, it does not require your prior consent under the ePrivacy rules โ but we're telling you about it anyway, in the interest of transparency.
3. Cookies we do NOT currently use
At the time of writing, this website does not use any analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics), advertising or tracking cookies, or third-party social media cookies. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first, and โ where required by law โ we will ask for your consent via a cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
4. Managing cookies
Most web browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including deleting existing cookies and blocking cookies from being set in the future. Since we only use one strictly-necessary session cookie, blocking cookies will simply mean you cannot stay logged in to the self-service portal.
