These Terms & Conditions govern your use of belgiumoutdoorshack.be, its award programme sections (BCA, TOTA, BELMOTA, BLHA), and any purchase made through the Shop. By using this website, or by placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. About us

BOS! Belgium Outdoor Shack is a volunteer-run initiative supporting portable outdoor amateur radio activity in Belgium. You can reach us at info@belgiumoutdoorshack.be.

2. Use of the website and award programmes

• This website and its award programmes (BCA, TOTA, BELMOTA, BLHA) are provided free of charge, on a best-effort, volunteer basis.
• Each award programme has its own specific rules, published on its respective rules page, which apply in addition to these general terms.
• We reserve the right to correct scoring errors, update reference lists, or amend award rules, where reasonably necessary for the fair administration of a programme.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the logs and information you submit.

3. Orders (Shop and award plaques)

Some items (merchandise via the Shop, or optional wooden award plaques) are ordered by email and paid by bank transfer, rather than through an automated checkout.

• Prices are shown in euros. Unless stated otherwise, shipping costs are additional and will be confirmed before payment.
• An order is only processed once payment has been received.
• We aim to ship orders within a reasonable time after payment, but delivery times are indicative, not guaranteed.
• Right of withdrawal: as a consumer in the EU, you generally have the right to withdraw from an order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Belgian law (Book VI of the Code of Economic Law). To exercise this right, contact info@belgiumoutdoorshack.be within that period. Please note that made-to-order or personalized items (for example, an award plaque engraved with your callsign) may be excluded from the right of withdrawal where the law allows this for custom-made goods.
• Return shipping costs, where a return is accepted, are borne by the customer unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

4. Intellectual property

The BOS! name, logos, and the content of this website (text, graphics, award artwork) may not be reproduced or used commercially without our prior written permission, except where a specific page explicitly allows it (for example, downloading your own earned award image).

5. Third-party programmes and links

This website links to, and cooperates with, independent third-party programmes such as GMA, WCA, wwTOTA, ONBOTA and others. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or rules of these third-party websites and services.

6. Limitation of liability

This website and its award programmes are provided "as is". While we take reasonable care to keep information accurate and systems available, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website, to the fullest extent permitted by Belgian law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent Belgian courts. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
