Belgian Lighthouse & Lightship Awards
The Belgian Lighthouse & Lightship Awards (BLHA) are available free of charge to all licensed radio amateurs worldwide.
For the purpose of this award, a lighthouse or lightship is defined as a structure or vessel that can be entered and, where permitted, activated from inside.
Activator Rules
- All activations are valid (see the Reference List for eligible references).
- Activators should upload their logs directly on this website via the Login page to receive BLHA credit.
- All awards are provided free of charge and are available exclusively in digital (.PDF) format.
- Awards can be downloaded from your account on the Login page once you reach a milestone.
- Activations must take place within line of sight of the lighthouse or lightship, at a maximum distance of 1,000 metres. Activators should always operate as close to the reference as practical.
- All legally permitted amateur radio bands and modes are accepted.
- Repeater QSOs are not valid.
- BLHA relies on the honesty and fair play of all participants. Decisions regarding submitted or non-submitted awards are final and will not be discussed.
